ABT Advanced Biogas Technologies is a technology company with a clear objective,
to provide sustainable solutions for urban and industrial organic waste management.

With over 15 years of experience, ABT staff has designed and managed waste treatment
projects for the organic fraction of urban municipal residues, such projects have been
widely recognized for their high load factor > 96% on average in the last 10 years.

ABT is currently building a project in El Salvador for one of the leading
companies #in the poultry industry in this country.

The project follows the circular economy guidelines where organic waste
generated in the entire production line including the rearing system, slaughter plant, and restaurants
will be treated in the biogas plant to generate electricity that will be fed into the public network,
steam for the process and fertilizers.

Additionally, and for the first time in Latin America, the stripping system has been implemented, with which the nitrogen content is reduced the Nitrogen content in the digester, halving the amount of mixing water and generating Ammonium Sulfate, which is a commonly used fertilizer in the region.

This project was done in cooperation with the companies bwe Energiesysteme GmbH & Co KG from Germany
and Byosis group from the Netherlands. Which have a representation agreement with ABT Advanced Biogas Technologies.
