A trajectory built on years of projects and results
ABT Advanced Biogas Technologies, based in Oldenburg, Germany, was founded in 2019 with the aim of transforming urban and industrial organic waste into energy and environmental value. Our team, with more than 10 years of previous experience, has designed and built biogas plants in Europe.
Our strength combines applied engineering, deep knowledge of the biological process and adaptation to the local conditions of each project, which has allowed us to implement successful solutions in different international markets.
As part of this journey, ABT has developed industrial projects in Latin America, including a biogas plant for the poultry sector in El Salvador, which today constitutes a tangible reference of its technical and operational capacity. This project integrates circular economy principles to generate electricity, heat and fertilizers from organic waste.

Presence in Latin America
Today, ABT has a local presence in Latin America, which allows it to closely accompany its clients during all phases of the project, from design and construction to operation and optimization.
From the execution of our projects, ABT has acquired solid experience in the implementation of stripping systems, aimed at reducing the nitrogen content in the digester, optimizing mixing water consumption and valorizing byproducts such as ammonium sulfate, widely used as fertilizer in the region.
The implemented solutions integrate high-level German technologies, incorporated through specialized technological partners, and are based on the application of proven engineering, good operating practices and international standards, guaranteeing efficient, reliable and sustainable projects over time.
